Wings Over Africa was approved in 2002 by the SACAA as a flight training organization with our facility in Tzaneen at the Tzaneen aerodrome. In 2021, we opened a second facility in Polokwane at the Pietersburg Civil Airport.
We have accumulated more than 28,000 training hours accident-free over the years.
We have a dedicated team of highly qualified full-time instructors to ensure that you will receive the best training possible.
To ensure that a high quality of training and safety standards are met. One-on-one training is conducted by our highly qualified instructors, with progress and standard checks conducted by the Chief Flight Instructor.
We have two facilities, one based at Tzaneen Airfield and the other at the Pietersburg Civil Airport. One of the biggest advantages is that we have minimum time wasted on the ground with lengthy taxis to the holding points, waiting for take-off or landing slots and long flights to and from the General Flying Area. The students get ample radio exposure with Hoedspruit Military Base, Makado Military Base and Polokwane International as two of our air traffic services. Another benefit is that all our students receive mountain flying training since Tzaneen is in the Lowveld.
